Hussein has completed a postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry which has rewarded him with Fellowship of the British Academy of Aesthetic, Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAARID). This diploma included training to provide Bioclear composite restorations.
Although Hussein enjoys all aspects of dental care, he is particularly passionate about preventative and minimally invasive dentistry. This has involved working with Acteon on their Fight Periodontal Disease campaign which aims to prevent medical as well as dental diseases.
Hussein has also undertaken further training to provide Invisalign Go invisible aligner orthodontics and in facial aesthetics to be able to offer the most appropriate treatment options without compromising patient care.
Hussein continues to support the profession through regular magazine contributions, as well as being on the BDJ Reader Panel and an Editorial Advisory Board Member of Young Dentist Magazine.
In his spare time, he is a keen squash player, which helps to offset the calories from his love of cooking.
